In Iowa, the Administrative Code 661-504.1 states that the provisions of the National Electrical Code are adopted as the requirements for electrical installations performed by licensed electricians. In Iowa, a master electrician has the necessary qualifications and technical knowledge to properly plan, lay out, and supervise the installation of electrical wiring and equipment for light, heat, and power, while a journeyman electrician is an entry level person who has the necessary qualifications to wire for or install electrical wiring and equipment. A class A license requires an exam to be cleared. A class B license doesn't. A special electrician with a Residential Electrician endorsement is allowed to perform electrical work in a residence with no more than 4 living units within the same building. This book is for those who wish to go for the Journeyman License and specialize in residential works. This is why we come up with this study product - we provide you with essential knowledge and information that can be easily comprehended so that during the actual exam you won't need to browse the code book for answering every single question! The exam covers a wide range of fundamental topics but this study notes will focus on topics related to code compliance. Following the Armistice in 1918, Maj. Gen. Mason M. Patrick, Chief of Air Service, American Expeditionary Forces, directed that a record be made of lessons learned during the war. This information, he believed, was needed for planning the Air Service of the future. The reports prepared by commanders, pilots, observers, and other members of the various Air Service units in response to General Patrick's directive are of considerable historical interest for the information they contain about the Air Service and its employment at the front. A select group of the reports on lessons learned make up Part 1 of this volume of World War I documents on U.S. military aviation. Part II is devoted to a report on the effects of Allied bombing in World War I. This long-forgotten document, the result of a post-war investigation by the Air Intelligence Section of General Headquarters, American Expeditionary Forces, is the counterpart of the well-known United States Strategic Bombing Survey of World War II.
