Der dritte Abschnitt fragt nun nach der interpretatorischen Bedeutung eines eventuellen unzuverlässigen Erzählers in The Black Cat. Im Laufe dieser Arbeit wird versucht, diese Fragen zu beantworten und die Ergebnisse in einer abschließenden Schlussbetrachtung zusammenzufassen.
