The third book in the Magdalene Line Trilogy takes Maureen to Florence, where she begins training in the secret teachings of The Order of the Holy Sepulcher. Under the guidance of her new teacher, Destino, she discovers the fascinating story of Lorenzo de Medici - the godfather of the Renaissance and the greatest patron of the arts in history. But Lorenzo's obsession was not with culture alone. Instead, he worked carefully to create a body of work which would preserve a series of ancient secrets - secrets too powerful and dangerous to be committed to writing. But Maureen's most explosive discovery affects the person closest to her, as she realizes that her lover, Berenger, shares an extraordinary legacy with Lorenzo de Medici. Both men were born under the auspices of a prophecy found in the early writing of the Bloodline - the prophecy of the Poet Prince. But as Berenger and Maureen explore the daunting task of filling Lorenzo's place in the 21st Century, they find themselves the subject of an ancient vendetta hell-bent on destroying the heresy and ending Maureen's life in the process.

On Easter Sunday 2007 the Los Angeles Times reported that two billion people worldwide - nearly a third of the planet's population - were united by one powerful common denominator: The Lord's Prayer. The Lord's Prayer is now, as it was when Jesus taught it to his disciples, the incorruptible formula for personal and global transformation. Kathleen McGowan tells how she came to discover the prayer's transformative power by learning the secret of the Rose with Six Petals - a mosaic window in the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Each petal represents a different teaching found within The Lord's Prayer and is the map to discovering the real secret of how to have the life you truly desire. The book is divided into seven chapters, each representing a primary teaching related to lines in the prayer: faith, surrender, service, abundance, forgiveness, obstacles, and love. Within each chapter are a series of questions designed to make you dig deep into your heart and soul. Relating her story and using the rose formula, McGowan offers readers a unique blueprint to transform their own lives through the power of The Lord's Prayer.

Dear Reader, Almost Innocent is a romance that is particularly dear to me, with a heroine who surprised me with her strength and resourcefulness, and a hero who will always be one of my favorites. Growing up behind the impenetrable walls of an English fortress, young Magdalen does not know that she is the illegitimate daughter of a powerful English prince and his murdered French mistress -- or that she has been a pawn in the struggle between England and France ever since she slipped from her dying mother's womb. All she knows is that she longs for excitement. And then one day, as if in answer to her prayers, the splendid figure of Guy de Gervais, a true knight in shining armor, rides into her cloistered world and spirits her away. For Magdalen it is love at first sight. The one and only love of her life. Yet Guy sees only his responsibility to keep Magdalen safe until she can be wed to his nephew and thus fulfill her political destiny. Then duty calls Guy to the bloody battlefields of France, and when he returns, time has transformed Magdalen into a stunningly sensual beauty. Suddenly the noble knight is fighting the fiercest battle of his life: against a searing desire for a woman he cannot have. I hope that you will be thrilled by Magdalen and Guy's passionate love story, and that you will have as much pleasure reading it as I had writing it. Warmest wishes, Jane Feather P.S. Don't miss my latest novel, The Widow's Kiss, featuring an enchantress who has been widowed no less than four times ... and the formidable hero who finds himself reluctantly falling under her spell. Forget Dan Brown, this is very probably the REAL story, and it's more beautiful than you could imagine. In this book, the author attempts to tell the story of Jesus and Mary in the first person, hoping thereby to enter their minds to some degree. Jesus, as well as being the Eternal Word of God, is seen as being completely human, "like us in all things except sin" as St Paul puts it. The implication is that besides experiencing weakness, limitation and even ignorance, he must have been a fully integrated sexual being, with his sexuality playing a decisive part in his psychology. In accordance with the theory advanced by Ramon K. Jusino in his article "Mary Magdalen - author of the fourth Gospel?" Mary is seen as the mysterious "disciple whom Jesus loved" who features prominently in the fourth Gospel. Their relationship is explored with what is hoped is openness and honesty. The work is itself fictional, but follows closely the Gospel narratives. The generous preview gives a good taste of the book.
